Our Setup Fee helps us recover those expenses in time and equipment invested in setting up your listing in MLS. That includes professional photography, signage, CSS, lockbox, flyer, travel and consultation time as described in the service level you purchase.
Payment of the fee at the time of the listing is a demonstration of your willingness to sell and guarantees we will be paid for those efforts no matter what the outcome. By paying an upfront fee you are avoiding a much larger backend fee compared to a 6% agent. It is amazing what some people are willing to pay to defer an expense.
