What is Centralized Showing Service (CSS)?

I often spend a lot of time explaining how arrangements are made to show homes. Centralized Showing Service (CSS) is a clearing house all local agents use to set up showings for buyers. When we list your home, we set up CSS for you and give you online access to monitor your showings and make changes to your schedule and instructions. You can set hours for showings, give alarm instructions, require advance permission and notification or if the home is vacant set it up for agents to just go and show.  Summary reports of showings and agent feedback is emailed to the seller and listing agent to build a mosaic of information to help decide how the home is being perceived by the market place. Sometimes questions come in through CSS and we respond with your input to those questions.  For sellers, CSS can be reached by phone at 817-858-0055 or sign in and follow these simple instructions.

  1. Go to www.showings.com
  2. Click LOGIN in the top right hand corner of the website.
  3. Choose your market (Dallas / Fort Worth) in the drop down, and enter your login information.
  4. Click the LOGIN button.

When you are buying a home we often use CSS to set up your showings, receive permission to show you the home, get instructions and provide your feed back to the selling agent. The public cannot call CSS to set up a showing. For obvious security reasons, only licensed agents can use this service. Not all agents use CSS for a variety of monetary and control needs but the most do so.
